Welcome to Mando's Fishing Adventures
Welcome to Texas Sand Bass and Hybrid Association an organization created to promote the love and lore of sand bass and hybrid fishing in Texas and throughout. TXSBHA is the brain child of a handful of die hard sand bass and hybrid fishier-folk from the DFW area who fish are share fishing skills and secrets in order to hone their fishing techniques. After much talk the founding members decided to create a non-profit organization based off the Internet in order to provide information to anyone who fishes for sand bass and hybrids.
In addition to the promotion of sand bass and hybrid fishing TXSBHA will hold monthly tournaments open to skilled and novice anglers, with an entry fee that is affordable to everyone. The tournaments will be held at MetroPlex area lakes but TXSBHA hopes to hold tourneys throughout Texas and maybe even having four chapters of Texas Sand Bass and Hybrid Association in the years to come.
The membership fee to join TXSBHA is $25.00 with this entitles members to pay a $25.00 instead of a $35.00 entry fee to all TXSBHA tourneys. Proceeds from the membership fund will be used to purchase scales for the tourneys and fryers for the fish fry's held after the tournaments. TXSBHA hopes that at the end of the year that some funds will be left to donate to the restocking efforts of Texas Parks and Wildlife. There are also plans to create a college scholarship fund for the children of TXSBHA members.
The first 25 members will be charter members and will receive a commemorative t-shirt, additional members will receive TXSBHA decals to adorn their vehicles and boats. T-shirt and decals will be distributed when 25 members have enrolled in TXSBHA. In addition to this members that join at the $25.00 price will always pay the same membership fee if membership fees increase in the future.
As a part of TXSBHA staff members will post monthly fishing bulletins on local fishing conditions and product knowledge reports on the equipment used in their fishing endeavors.
We hope that you give Texas Sand Bass Association and grow with us as an organization that promotes not only sand bass and hybrid fishing but the lore and camaraderie involved in angling throughout.
Best Regards
